Fell Walking (CrinkleCrags)

A couple of days ago, I went on a walk with my dad to a group of mountains called Crinkle-Crags.

Bad Owie

On Sunday, we were in a hurry for Mass because we were late. So in the car park I was rushing.....got out....slammed the door and left my finger in the car. I turned around to see that my finger had been crushed in the door. After, i was in a mahoosive amount of pain and my nail was black with blood and a huge gash in my finger. I wanted to go straight to the hospital, like you should but my mom wanted to go home first and tell my dad and phone NHS (which was a complete waste of time because they just said go straight to the hospital).
Arriving at the hospital, the pain wasn't so bad because my mom gave me some super-duper drugs. But don't get me wrong, it still hurt!
So at the hospital, I got x-rayed and all that. And then they said that they was allot of pressure underneath my nail. So they got a really hot metal thingy and pierced my nail. That was one of the most painful things through all this. They went to far and burnt my flesh underneath. I could smell burning. :-( . All the blood rushed out and its still oozing as I type and I don't know how long it will ooze before it stops...A day later, I've gone through 6 bandage/plaster thingies and it the accident left a massive flap of skin which i freak out my parents with. hehe. The reason why it is so blurry is that my mom refused to take a photo of "it" so i had to peel it with one hand and take the photo with the other! (pretty good photo considering it was with one hand!) If you look closely around the "flap" you will see it is all blue.

My birthday-day!!

So its my birthday and i am now 13.For my birthday i got some really cool stuff. From my brother who lives in chicago, he got me a PRO american football helmet. As soon as i put it on i head butted my friend in the head :-)(bad idea).

But the best thing i got was a remote-control tank that fires pellets! It takes 6-8 hours to charge but its so totally worth it.O, yeah and ITS HURTS!

The party thing was at laser quest in carlise which rocks!it is in a underground maze thing with smoke-machines and stuff. You have a pack thing on and a laser gun. The aim of the game is to shoot the other people, and guess who won......o yeah ME! MWA HA HA!!

So the only bad thing is , what am i going to do about the title '12 year olds life'??

Report card day(eek)

Yesterday my report card from school arrived at my house.Like always, i was crapin' my sel. About 100 things where going through my head at the time like, What are my parents going to think and will they be dissapointed, you know the stuff that goes through every kids mind. So my mom called and i said can i open the report and read it to you(lessens the pressure) so i did. When i opened it i was soon to find that it was full of nice comments and praise. My mom said hey nose was going all stingy( in happyness). So what a relief, it was a great report, until it struck me that i knew that i would be getting one next ye, will be as good as my last......

Lambing Time

Yesterday i helped on my friends farm for16(ish) hours altogether. I fed the lambs which are sssoooo cool but sadly i saw some dead ones but it was inevitable that i would. The hardest part of the whole of working there is geting the herd(s) of sheep from the field in to the pen to get their medicine. My job was to make sure they kept the same track and didn't wander away from the group or go into another field.That was really hard!

The most icky bit was when we had to scrape out the cow shed. You can guess what I had to scrape out.

Feeding the lambs was really hard. I thought it was going to be easy but some would not feed so we had to tube them. I didn't do that. Altogether it was a really hard day but fun.

Scuba Diving (yeah)!

On Sunday I’m going scuba diving in Tynemouth(bbbrrrrr).My dad and I are doing the Dry suit course at the Blue water Scuba diving centre. I started Scuba diving in Corfu and Skiathos(Greece) but I started taking Diving seriously in Menorca (Spain). I first got a bubble maker award which is like a try-dive for beginners. Then I got a PADI Open Water Diver Award! That was really hard. To do that I had to swim 200 meter swim at my leisure and a 10 minute float on the surface. This is just enough to determine that I have the basic swimming abilities. THEN I had to get perfect buoyancy which was kinda easy but to my parents it was really hard (pphhhh amateurs).

The bit I hated the most was the bit where I had to take off my mask underwater, then swim for 10m, put it back on and clear it!
I also had to take out my reg. and put it back in underwater and remove and replace my equipment underwater. I did that with broken and sprained fingers!
